Hey I'm Lindsay—a serial optimist and one-woman pep rally who really loves the em dash. I believe in faith, prayer, and every other positive cliché. I'm not one to complain aloud, so writing became my outlet in 1995, and I haven't looked back. I write for myself. I write for friends. I write for pleasure. My pen name is lndsyjhnsn, my nickname is Penny, and I spend every spare of my nicknamesake on fashion and food. Here's the thing, good eats aren't reserved for reservation-only eateries, but nothing extraordinary has ever happened to me in sweatpants. That's why I say, "I'd rather be overdressed than overlooked." I live in the moment, and I don't believe in saving things for special occasions.
